Then moving on to visit El Sayeda Zeinab Mosque the grand daughter of Mohamed the prophet. The mosque houses the shrine of El Sayeda Zeinab. After that proceeding to visit El Sayeda Nafisa Mosque who was one of the members of Prophet Mohamed who has a great reputation in Egypt and is regarded as a Saint. The mausoleum was rebuilt and decorated many times since the Fatimid period till now. Then moving on to visit The Mausoleum of Imam al-Shafi' who was the founder of one of the four rites of Sunni Islam, and is considered to be one of the great Muslim saints. He was a descendant of the Prophet's uncle, Abu Talib, and came to Egypt in the 9th century.
Then, Ending the tour with taking a break at el Azahar Park which was an area covered with mounts of rubbish amassed during 500 years and when Aga khan IV visited Egypt in 1984, He decided to intervene and offer the city of his ancestors the much-needed gift of an oasis in this urban desert and he started the project of transforming these mounts of rubbish to a beautiful park. It is located on a hilly site surrounded by the most significant historic districts of Islamic Cairo. It’s Considered as one of the World’s great public spaces.
